Adidas Towning Jacket

A classic sportswear style, the Adidas Towning Jacket is made from a 100% recycled polyester plain weave constructing the regular fit - which is wider at the body. Featuring a drawcord hem around the waist which secures a customisable fit, and raglan sleeves which offer a natural wide range of motion kept in place through the elasticated sleeve cuffs. The full length zip can be opened for some additional breathability which already exists through the material used, however if it gets too hot the jacket packs away into its own pocket making it easily portable. The jacket features a primarily black base colour, which covers the upper torso and sleeves. The body is then broken up by central white detailing and the lower portion features a bold graphic in active blue and green, inspired by lo-fi computers. Heritage Adidas detailing is in place with white trefoil, over an indigo square, in place on the chest. The bottom features two hand warmer pockets, with zip fastening.

Despite being a globally leading brand in athletic sportswear, Adidas use recycled plastic bottles to create the polyester fabric which goes into making their clothes. This is to reduce emissions from sourcing new fabrics, while reducing pressure on landfill sites and decreasing energy used. As early as 2014, they recycled enough plastic products to produce roughly seven million t-shirts. This reflects the brand's commitment to not only being at the forefront of technology applied to their clothing but also in its production.
